Shipping Info & Return Policy

Orders typically ship in 3-4 business days. HOWEVER, during our big Spring and Fall Launch Days, Black Friday / Cyber Monday weekend, and other big sale times, orders can take 3-4 weeks to ship because we are handling a high volume of orders. Once a package leaves our shop, we are unable to control how it is handled by the carrier. Should your order arrive damaged, please contact us immediately so that we can do our best to resolve the issue. Please verify your shipping address is correct at checkout (through our shop AND through PayPal if you choose to checkout with their services) before submitting your order. We are not responsible for orders shipped to incorrectly submitted addresses. Customers are responsible for paying any reshipping charges associated with a package if an incorrect shipping address is entered at checkout.

We currently do not accept returns. If your order arrived damaged, please send us an email at Hello@EmilyLey.com within 7 days of receiving your order. We will happily send you a replacement item! Any orders that are returned to our warehouse without authorization will not receive a refund or credit. Please note that we are not able to refund, replace or offer shop credit for any Emily Ley or Simplified products purchased through Target, Staples, or Office Depot, as we do not carry stock of these licensed products. Customers are responsible for directing any and all questions to the applicable retailer.

Besides the navy and hot pink, the colors are way too light. They work a little better on my planner paper but I won’t be reaching for the light colors :(

Most of the Simplified products have been good quality and those that have not been, I’ve just dealt with and not left bad reviews but after voicing disappointment to customer service and just being told their pens are like this too… I’m kind of over holding back the poor review. These pens are terrible and I am super disappointed. Three of the six colors are so light they are not even visible enough to see what is written on the page & I’ve even tried different paper. I even thought maybe I had a defective set- that’s why I emailed. Do not recommend. Will be discarding as they are useless to me.

I wanted to provide some clarification, as a few key points from our conversation may have been missed. When I mentioned that my pens were similar, I was referring to your comment, "I don't know if I got a bad batch or if the colors are supposed to be this light.." I wanted to assure you that the pens are indeed designed to have lighter ink to match the barrel color, and mine are the same.
