Welcome to Day 2 of our Simplifying 2022 series! As you prep for the new year, you may be thinking through new goals or priorities you want to pursue. We’ve found that clarifying what matters most to us—whether it’s caring for family, carving out time to try a new hobby, or growing our business—clears the mental clutter so we can make room to focus on the most important things. Today, Emily’s going to give you the tools do help you find what matters most to you, so you can be on your way to helping your 2022 be your best year yet.

Thought-Provoking Quotes
“Don't forget, you don't have to wait until the new year to redefine what's most important to you. I had my redefined success moment in the middle of the year, and I hope you feel that agency to enact that kind of change whenever you need it. ” – Emily Ley
“I invite you to think about what makes you feel loved and cared for and safe, because those things really do matter the most and will be the arrow pointing you toward the people and practices that will help you find meaning and purpose.” – Emily Ley
A Blessing for Your Week
I hope you remember to embrace the people and moments that help you care for yourself well.
I hope you remember to trust your knowing, that voice inside you whispering, “Let me take care of you.”
And I hope you remember to let go of the things that don't matter so you can say yes to more things that do.
Simplicity Tip of the Week
I want you to take 10 minutes and think about those questions I asked you a bit earlier about which people and practices help you care for yourself the most. You don't have to make this list anywhere fancy. Maybe do it in the Notes app on your phone. Just do what I call a brain dump and let your thoughts flow out of you. Then see if you can identify which relationships and causes and commitments matter most to you and keep those in mind as you start to fill the pages of the upcoming year.
