Hi there! My name is Elissa Martin. I am a wife to a loving husband and a new mommy to a sweet baby boy. Currently residing in St. Petersburg, Florida, we love the simple life of our beautiful beach town. God led us to Tampa Bay three years ago to help launch a church with our friends, and we have been amazed at all He’s done in our lives through that step of obedience… one of which was the start of my interior design business: All Things Beautiful.
How do you take care of yourself so that you’re physically and mentally prepared to be your best self for others?
Nothing sustains and prepares me for life, its busyness, and its occasional curve balls like a consistent reliance on Jesus for strength. Prayer and time with Him are a must! Also, I pretty much do life on half sweet/half unsweet tea from Chick-fil-A (extra ice, please).
What’s your favorite beauty secret?
I am a very loyal user and lover of Palmer’s cocoa butter lotion. It smells absolutely amazing (like you sorta want to eat it) and makes my skin feel so soft!
What’s your favorite go-to outfit for a quick polished look?
I usually fall back on white pants, a loose-fitting boyfriend-cut tee, sandals, and some sunglasses.
What’s your favorite quick-prep dinner for your family?
Tacos!!
What tradition or routine is important to you?
I love going on family walks downtown, at a park, or even in our neighborhood. It’s quality time spent together to slow down and just enjoy the blessing of life and each other.
What’s in your purse?
As of now, it’s more like a purse/diaper bag, so it includes things like: a wallet, lip gloss, diapers, wipes, an assortment of baby teething toys, hand sanitizer, cell phone, and keys.
Where do you find your inspiration?
For life, I find my inspiration from God’s Word. For business, I love perusing Pinterest, home décor magazines, and my favorite online sites.
We know you’re a busy lady! How do you balance all of your work responsibilities with your home and personal life? Any tips for our readers?
Prioritizing and time management are key. With a baby, I just do my best to use the time he’s napping to get things accomplished. However, some things will just have to wait, and that’s ok.
What’s your favorite app (or other tool) for helping you do life?
